Architectuur is een uitermate geschikt instrument voor het afleren van deviant gedrag. Dat blijkt uit een studie van Fleur Agema, tweede kamerlid voor de PVV.
Fleur Agema ontwierp een vernieuwend gevangenismodel waarin hedendaagse ideeën omtrent gefaseerde strafuitvoering versterkt worden vanuit de architecturale vormgeving.
Fleur Agema’s gevangenismodel krijgt vandaag eindelijk de waardering die het verdient dankzij de opname in het project ‘Politiek Kunstbezit’ van Jonas Staal.
Het Agema Gevangenis Model omvat een totaalarchitectuur die de strafuitvoering, zowel in vorm als programma, fundamenteel herdenkt vanop de tekentafel. Hiermee wordt de opvoedende waarde van de moderne architectuur nu ook vertaald in realistische visie op straf, toezicht en discipline.
