status: announcement

In the context of Red Light Art – A second Exchange: public program, BAVO presents and discusses the two fundamental concepts that guide artist participation in Amsterdam.

‘Creative coalitions’ and ‘Artistic discipline’ are two fundamentals that enable the art sector to display itself within the central ambition Amsterdam Metropolitan Area 2040.

Red Light Art presents itself as a genuine best practice. Red Light Art provides an open platform for a fruitful and visible cooperation between public-private partners and the art sector by creating space for autonomous and spontaneous activity.
