URBAN POLITICS

Conference on Arts and Urban Re-Invention

project: URBAN POLITICS

date: 21/08/2009

BAVO will present a lecture at a conference in Göteborg.

The conference 'CityScape Göteborg: Arts & Urban Re-Invention: Policy & Politics' is addressed to leaders in policy making on the regional level in the Nordic region and Black Sea region.  It will present a number of ideas and models in relation to urban planning and regional re-vitalization. By identifying the questions that concern both regions and balance between the practitioners and policy makers, the conference underlines the necessity to constantly concentrate on sustainability, on the cultural dimension of architecture and on regional developmental policies.

The conference will be held on the 21st and 22nd of August 2009 in Gothenburg at the City Museum, as part of the Black/North SEAS platform.
